| Welcome to Glencoe Lacrosse! Pacific Conference Champions 2011 | | | | | | | The Glencoe Boys Lacrosse Club was one of the first clubs to play organized lacrosse. What started with 4 teams has now become over 50 high school programs. Girls lacrosse is growing and the youth teams are exploding with higher numbers. Lacrosse is truly the fastest growing team sport in Oregon.
The sport is not yet recognized or financially supported in the Hillsboro School District as a Tier 1 sport. We are club with a Board of Directors and parent volunteers. The Board oversees the operations of the Youth Program and the High School Program for boys. We have a strong bond of support from the Hillsboro School District and Glencoe High School. We hope to achieve parity with sports like football, soccer and basketball. Just like soccer, the day will come.
In the meantime, we are very proud to provide a high quality opportunity for boys who want to play lacrosse. From the beginner in 3rd grade to the 8th grader looking to join the high school team to the senior, who may play in a number of programs at the college level. Lacrosse clubs in the state of Oregon include University of Oregon, Oregon State, Portland State, Western State and others .
Our coaches have all been credentialed by the Oregon High School Lacrosse Association, National Federation of High School Coaches, courses in concussion, improper use of anabolic steroids and experience as players and coaches in lacrosse. Our goal is to provide a team opportunity for young men, learn to weather adversity and give their best in an athletic contest.
Our registration for High School begins in January of each year. The Youth Registration begins in February. If you are interested in playing lacrosse with the Glencoe Boys Lacrosse Program, your residence must be in the district zoned for attendance to Glencoe High School and attend one of its feeder schools.
We are proud of our program, we are proud of our coaches and we are especially proud of the standards we are teaching our young men.
If you have questions about our program, please write to

Where: West End Building (aka LO Parks & Rec)
4101 Kruse Way
Lake Oswego, OR 97035
RSVP: to
Instructional material will be provided!
Volunteers are needed! JV parents are encouraged to help out for the Varsity games & Varsity parents are encouraged to help during the JV games.
At least 2 people are needed per home game (book and clock) and one for away games (book).
Why volunteer?
-
great way to learn the game and understand the rules
-
clock is a running clock in JV, only stops at timeouts (how easy is that?)
-
get to use an air horn (when asked...horn please!)
-
you're considered part of the "officials" so you can't be yelled at by coaches
-
you can yell at your kid along with the coach when they get put in the penalty box
-
you're going to be there watching your kid play anyway right?
-
you sit under a canopy most of the time and don't get rained on unlike those in the stands
-
most important - it's for the kids (if we don't do it, who will?)
